Integration of third-party services and content

It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites, is integrated within this offer. This always requires that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") are aware of the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the presentation of this content. We endeavour to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence if the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. Insofar as this is known to us, we inform the users about this.

We use services of the social network LinkedIn on our website on the basis of Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO in order to raise awareness of our website in this way and to interact with our target groups. The responsibility for the data protection-compliant operation of these services is guaranteed by the respective provider. We integrate these services exclusively via a link. Through the integration of social plugins, data is usually already transmitted to LinkedIn when a content is called up, without the user having explicitly consented to this. In addition to the web address of the content visited, an identifier is also transmitted, which enables a direct link between the user of the website and their profile on the relevant platform. The providers of these platforms do not provide any specific information about which data is also transmitted. The providers of the platforms are also constantly developing them further and provide information about the associated use of data. The currently valid data protection provisions of LinkedIn can be found herehttps://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?trk=homepage-basic_footer-privacy-policy.

Third parties may have their place of business outside the EU or the EEA - an adequate level of data protection in accordance with the GDPR may therefore not exist. The browser plug-ins and links are identified in our website by logos or other notices.
